The newest features in the IS4000MM Pro are its state-of-the-art precision automated lens and excitation and emission filter systems. The precision automated lens system records the precise f-stop, 10X zoom and focal plane parameters at each session, enabling reproducibility and traceability without time-consuming manual steps. The system is equipped with a proprietary design including a selectable wavelength xenon epi-illumination light source, 10 automated excitation filters ranging from 380-780 nm, and 4 automated wide-angle emission filers ranging from 440-830 nm. The precision filter systems combine with other advanced automation features to minimize setup time and maximize workflow efficiency and throughput of measurements.

The IS4000MM Pro is the most versatile digital imaging system available for imaging chemiluminescent, selectable multi-wavelength fluorescent, and chromogenic labels in gels, blots, plates, extracted tissue samples and more. The image station also is capable of radioisotopic and in vivo x-ray imaging with addition of optional modules and accessories.

The IS4000MM Pro is equipped with a 4-million pixel cooled CCD camera and a 10X optical zoom lens that deliver up to 10 microns/pixel resolution. With a dynamic range greater than 4OD, the system provides true 16-bit imaging, producing more than 65,000 levels of grayscale data in a single capture for accurate intensity measurement.

The IS4000MM Pro is the latest addition to the Molecular Imaging Systems organization’s research product line of in vitro and in vivo digital imaging systems.
